The Marksman's Stone is a Support Tarstone in Mortal Shell II. It improves ranged critical chance, which makes it a core pickup for sidearm and critical-hit builds.
It is found in and around Mushroom Village. Because the exact drop has been reported slightly differently across guides, treat the precise pickup as unconfirmed until you verify it in your own playthrough.
Where to find the Marksman's Stone
Guides place the Marksman's Stone in Mushroom Village. The most common report is a chest guarded by enemies on the upper northeast path of Mushroom Village, with an alternative report of it appearing outside Mushroom Village Gate after clearing a trial.
Approach the upper village path after clearing the nearby enemies, and check the guarded chest first. If it is not there, complete the Mushroom Village Gate trial and check the reward area.
What the Marksman's Stone does
As a Support Tarstone, the Marksman's Stone boosts ranged critical chance. It pairs well with sidearms like the Triarch Repeater, Ballistazooka, or Forgotten Crossbow for a full critical-hit ranged build. See the full Tarstone locations guide for the other 72 stones.
